Aria Shadewood-Pahlke (or Aria Pahlke, as she insists to be called) is the leader of RED, an organization she made to avenge the murder of her husband, Alban Pahlke. In honor of him, she keeps his old .44 Magnum Revolver and Combat Armor, and uses them frequently in battle.
She'd also adopted Ariana Llehctim and her infant sister, when the 2's parents were killed in the initial attack on Kaven Base, just moments after May gave birth.
During the incident where Alban was captured (which led to him being executed), Aria lost her left arm, which she replaced with a magically-enhanced prosthetic replacement.
